Our upgraded Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt has been designed with the needs of today's decorator in mind focusing on what matters, ease of application and a high quality finish. To support the launch of new Vinyl Matt we asked 500 decorators what really matters to them and their business.

The results confirmed reputation is everything when it comes to running a strong business, with delivering professional end result for the client being of utmost importance. More than a third of those surveyed put doing a good job significantly above maximising profits and completing work quickly.

Keeping ahead as a professional is a clear priority to today's decorator, with 78 percent putting having professional training under their belt and ensuring that their customers were aware of their credentials as a high priority. Being equipped with the right products and tools was of considerable importance, and almost half saying that using high quality paint was vital for ensuring the optimum finish.
