Decorative features within the building 

Kavanagh Painting Solutions Ltd, were awarded the painting and decorating package for St Luke’s Hospital on June 3rd 2021 and the measure of work was completed in February 2022. St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny was a 5 floor 72-bed hospital extension. The painting package consisted of internal decorations to walls and bulkheads, paint to plant room floors, paint to door liners and architrave and window boards. Decorative features within the building consisted of feature walls behind bedheads and around door ways. 

Dulux’s Sterishield proved to be a great product throughout this project 

Dulux Trade Drywall Sealer: ”The walls within the building were spray plaster and we found this to be a very powdery substrate to work with so Dulux’s Dry Wall Sealer pulled together the surface area during the miss coat to ensure a uniform finish for the finishing coats.”  Kavanagh Painting Solutions 

Dulux Trade Sterishield Matt: ”This is a fantastic product and we found no issues with flash points on cutting in to rolling regardless of any colour used throughout the building. Kavanagh Painting Solutions have used anti-bacterial paint in the past from other brands and found some colours cause issues, however Dulux Trade’s Sterishield proved to be a great product throughout this project.” Kavanagh Painting Solutions

Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell: ”Used on the Common areas and Plant Rooms this was a very user-friendly product with great coverage for an eggshell, there is very little spray off the roller and a fantastic uniform finish regardless of the colour used.” Kavanagh Painting Solutions
