Product Description

Armstead Trade Vinyl Matt is a professional quality matt emulsion that minimises surface imperfections. Suitable for all normal interior and ceiling surfaces. Particularly suited for large job applications in commercial, institutional and industrial structures.

Application Description

Brush, roller, spray and airless spray. Do not apply in temperatures below 8 Deg C

Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/ physician if you feel unwell. Keep cool. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national or international regualtions. Contains 2-butanone oxime. May produce an allergic reaction. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions shoulf be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960's paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. System information

STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Seal new or bare surfaces with a thinned first coat of Armstead Vinyl Matt (up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint). The normal finishing process is 2 full coats of Armstead Vinyl Matt, but on previously painted surfaces in good condition where similar colours are used, 1 coat may be sufficient. When applying water-based paints to surfaces previously decorated with a conventional solvent-based paint, very thorough surface preparation will be necessary.
For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient paint for each job including touch-in at one time from the same source.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much product as possible from equipment before cleaning with water.
  • 2. Storing
    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost. To prevent spillage, please store and transport upright.
