Product Description

Dulux Trade Diamond Matt is a tough and cleanable emulsion with a smooth, uniform matt finish. Perfect for busy environments, it contains a unique Stain Repellent Technology, preventing stains from setting into the surface making cleaning easier. Highly scrubbable, it achieves Class 1 ISO 11998 and Type C BS 7719 scrub ratings. Tested up to 10,000 scrubs, it means walls withstand daily wear and tear and the finished job looks better for longer.
Our formula is 99.9% VOC free* and complies with BREEAM and LEED certifications.
*Based on in-can VOC content and measured in accordance with ISO 11890-2:2013.**Independently tested for indoor emissions, including formaldehyde, TVOC, TSVOC and Cat 1A & 1B carcinogens.

Application Description

Application : Brush,roller or spray. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. New or bare surfaces should be prepared with an appropriate Dulux Trade product. We recommend Drywall Primer Sealer or a thinned first coat of Vinyl Matt or Diamond Matt. The normal finishing process is 2 coats of Dulux Trade Diamond Matt, however for significant colour change additional coats may be required.
Airless Spray: For best results use a 515 Low Pressure tip or 517 Low pressure tip with an operating pressure of 1300 – 1700 psi. (89-117 bar).
Alternatively, use a 517 tip with an operating pressure of 2000 – 2400 psi (138-165 bar).
Please note that the above recommendations are intended as a guideline only and some adjustments may need to be made to accommodate equipment type & age, substrate type and individual site & atmospheric conditions.

Call a POISON CONTROL CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national or internation regulations. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mass of- 5-chloro-2-methyl-4isothiazolin-3-one [EC no. 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2H2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC no. 220-239-6] (3-1). May produce an allergic reaction. Avoide the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable mask if dry-sanding. Special precations must be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960's paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. EU limit valu for this product (cat-A/a)- 30g/l (2010). STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Seal new or bare surfaces with a thinned first coat of Dulux Trade Diamond Matt (up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint). The normal finishing process is 2 coats of Dulux Trade Diamond Matt, but on previously painted surfaces in good condition where similar colours are used, 1 coat may be sufficient.
For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient
tinted paint for each job including touch-in at
one time from the same source.
