Product Description

Dulux Trade Undercoat is recommended for Dulux Trade High Gloss. It is suitable for use on correctly prepared and primed interior and exterior surfaces where a solvent-based, high quality, durable high gloss system is required.

Application Description

relating to all solvent-based paints, spray
application is not recommended

WARNING. Contains Naphtha (petroleum), hydrotreated heavy. Flammable liquid and vapour. Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces - No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Keep cool. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national or international regulations. Contains reaction mass of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one [EC no. 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC no. 220-239-6] (3:1), 2-butanone oxime. May produce an allergic reaction. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. System information

STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Apply 1 coat of
the appropriate coloured Dulux Trade Undercoat,
followed by 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Trade High
Gloss. Allow a minimum of 6 hours for the
undercoat to dry before applying the gloss finish.
Where a second coat of Dulux Trade High Gloss
is required, allow a minimum of 16 hours between
coats.For improved obliteration on rough or textured
surfaces, or when using special process colours
(see appropriate Dulux Trade colour card) 2 coats
of Dulux Trade High Gloss will be required in
order to achieve full opacity.
